Speed Help.

    yeah im running No$gba and playing Pokemon Diamond. and its running on average 30 - 40%

    any way to make it faster? i went into the emulation menu, and changed around with the other speed options, but none of them make a difference.

    Well, go to System in your control panel. The start tab should say how fast your computer is.

    That should be plenty, run no$gba with diamond then go ctrl+alt+delete to bring up the Windows Task Manager. Click the processes tab and look for no$gba.exe and tell me the memory usage which is on the right.

    the latest. 2.6 i think its called, but its the latest. got it today.

    no way, you have no where near enough ram, you should have 512MB AT LEAST for Windows XP.

    still 512 is minimum for reasonable computers these days. Mine all have 1-2GB apart from my really old ones (pentium 3 and older)

    I never said I bought them all... most of them were rescued from the bin at school.

    :D okay that explains a lot. Too bad my high school just used all the budget to buy flat-screens ;D so there are only fat-ugly-clasic-junk monitors availeble...

    I bought my two flat-screens, plus I have two crts rescued from the bin. I tended not to bother with monitors
