I don't generally buy the games for the extra stuff but I do have a decent number of games that came with extra things like soundtracks and art books and the like. My most recent special edition of a game came with a boobie mousepad and a pillow that I'll never use though.
I'll get a special edition game base on how much I like the game really. I got the MW2 Prestige Edition, and I will get anything for Halo or Metroid. I loved the MW2 Prestige Edition. The Art Book is cool, and the Night Vision Goggles are pure awesome.
i got mw2 too i found out i bough regular mw2 for 59.99 and the store had the price drop and the hardened cost 59.99. Spoiler i slaped and splashed myslem
The only thing I never liked about CoD 1 is that the moment you come out of cover, all the enemies will be shooting at you. You can have like 10 guys with no guns, and big red targets on their heads, and they'll still go for you, AT THE SAME TIME. And then the fact that the game is really frigging dark. I'm not adjusting my TV brightness for ONE GAME.
It's a pretty solid game surprisingly enough. There's not nearly as much of the "hawt" material as that oversized box would lead you to believe though.
