  1. I need some help to run correctly tekken. The game works correctly, but the sound is like blocked on the same note. Just another thing : The sound works after a victory (or a defeat).

I give you some info, to find a way to help me :

    - I use an emulator, it seems to be psx v.1.13 for windows xp
    - I use Realtek HD audio output on my computer (it's the name)
    - My config on the emulator : Sound -> Sound Card -> Principal audio (peripheral?)
    - I use the iso of romulation.net for tekken US

Thanks to you. If you see to much faults it's because i'm french, so if you like teach me some english corrections, it will be ok !

& thanks for the futures answers :) !

Try using another emulator, like ePSXe 1.7.0

  3. Thanks for your answer TirithRR ! But, now i have another prob !

I download bios, plugin (cdr, video, sound...) for ePSXe 1.7.0 but it doesn't work at all ! I configure sound (when i test he didn't tell me it works), the emulator crashed when i config the CDR !

And when i start running a CD, the screen is just black !

    You have any idea ?

    My config :

    Bios : scph1001 - USA
Video : PEOpS Soft Driver 1.8 (Test ok, but screen in black)
Sound : PEOpS DSound Audio Driver 1.9 (i have a realtek & it not works, same thing for ePSXe core 1.7.0)
Cdrom : PEOpS CDR Driver 1.4 (don't know which config choose, i understand nothing)
    PAD : Ok

    Use a different video plugin. Like Pete's OpenGL2 or DX6 D3D.

It shouldn't matter, iso or cd should work.

Looks like plugin configurations are nessacary.

Is it not possible that the audio track could be missing from the ISO image ?

If so try and look for a mdf,mds image

  8. TirithRR, hYpNoS, & ray13j : With Pete's OpenGL2 & the config of ray13j the game can start & i can see something, Iso works good !

But now, i really don't have sound : I just have sound of the moves, but not the song of the place i fight.

Jhon 591 : I'm not sure, but i search in E: -> Tekken -> All the files & I just find : .TIA, .VH, .VB, .STR, .ARC. On my Virtual image i did not find any mdf, mds things.

At the beginning, sound tested didn't works & the screen was black ! Now the game start without bugs & I have sound for the moves, the scream, i suppose... when i select a character too, but only the song aren't here.

If you have any idea ?!

My config (click two times to see larger : one time on the link, a second time on the image) :

Try different sound plugins, like ePSXe SPU core 1.7.0, and Eternal SPU Plugin.

  11. I try this two, but no one works.

Try to burn it into CD and then run it, or use Mooby Disc Plugin.
Most games use CDAA Audio or something like that,
makes the ePSXe ISO playback function won't work very well.

  13. I add this on the last comment :

"When Namco appears, there is a sound, but no song when i play...

When i'm using pSX v.1.13, i have the sound when i choose my character, but the song crash on the first note, which stays all the round."

I'll try to burn it on a cd, but Mooby doesn't work to execute iso

Did you use Mooby2 cd Disk image driver 2.8?
Go to Configure -> 'Choose an Autorun Image' -> locate your Tekken 3 file, either .bin or .img
Click 'Ok', and then run the game, 'File' -> 'Run CDROM'.

See whether the sound was fixed or not.
If not try tinker with the Mooby plugins, like enable/disable CDDA tracks.
