Sound Problem.

    Well , now my sound aint working, i think my brother might have did something too because windows blind wont work and whenever i restart my computer the skin is set to windows Classic. Virus maybe?

    check the drivers are installed (right click on 'my computer', choose properties, and click the 'device manager' button on the 'hardware' tab. Your sound card should be shown in the 'sound, video and game controllers' section. Post a screen shot of device manager showing that section expanded if you aren't sure.

    I think my dad already tried that. Ill do it anyways.

    Go to Control Panel > Sound. Make sure the selected output device is the one your speakers are connected to connected to.

    Also make sure they're firmly plugged into the correct jack (usually the green one)

    Yes my dad checked the monitor plugs and they are all fine (sorry i just couldn't resist doing animation) the only thing that emits sound is AIMP which is a music software. Nothing else will work.

    can you run directx sound tests? (start -> run -> 'dxdiag' and its on the directsound and directmusic pages) Post if they work or not.

    when i goto volume control of control panel it says no audio device found, even when i selected it, could i possibly have a virus o_O?

    more likely something screwed up, try uninstalling that screaming bee driver, reinstalling your audio card driver and directx

    i already uninstalled screaming bee driver and i cannot find a SoundMAX digital audio driver on the net.

    i tried techspot, anyways my problem is resolved i installed a new soundcard (i think, well my dad it did, anyways it fixed)
