I have McAfee as my Antivirus software and I also use McAfee site-advisor which lets me know if a website has viruses and such on it before I enter. Well McAfee just decided to say Romu is not a safe site. I know the site is fine but I wonder what happened that they marked it as unsafe. And it always gives me this annoying red box warning whenever I go on romu :-\ Anyone else notice this?
dood i think personuser made a topic just like that a couple min ago edit: spelled his name wrong, thanks toffe, was looking for the link
Somebody already noticed it and made a topic about it. http://forum.romulation.net/index.php?topic=48031.0
It's nothing actually ;D The MacFee Website adviser has spammers spamming reports saying many safe website are unsafe ;D It is real >
That's not the case. http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/romulation.net?premium=false&client_uid=2359651749&client_ver=3.0.1.163&client_type=IEPlugin&suite=true&aff_id=679&locale=en_us&os_ver=6.0.2.0&pip=true
so maybe we should remove the affiliation site? because they have been listed as dangerous by firefox to... EDIT: musta read the site wrong...if i did, the domain is actually for sale...
I would suggest picking up a new anti-virus. Just a personal suggestion due to McAfee being one of the worst anti virus softwares available. Also, yes, just remove the affiliate. Obviously their site is no good to potential visitors to this site.
Norton is way worse, just ask loony & he'll tell you that.... Best AV at the moment are AVG, Avira & NOD32.
