Sonic Rush and Sonic Rush Adventure issues

    I've tried running both sonic rush and sonic rush adventure on the newest no$gba with no$zoomer, and for some reason, everything but the movement works. i can't figure out how to fix it. I've tried changing the controls for movement but it's not working. any thoughts?

    My only idea is to run the games on an older version of No$GBA or try re-downloading it in case anything was corrupted.

    Do these games work on no$gba 2.6a, without no$zoomer? Which part does the movement not work?

    i can't move the character at all, nor can i scroll through the menus with the arrow keys. but it works without zoomer, kinda embarassed that i didn't think to try it like that in the first place :-[
