Sonic Classic Collection Help?

    I suck so much at all the Sonic games, since I just found out I didn't hate them like last night..... On Sonic 1, I suck so much I can't even get past Marble Zone Act 2.

    Is there anything I could do to get better, I mean other than playing? Because it looks like I just get worse and worse as time passes.

    Well, if you want a level select option for the first game, when the title screen appears with Sonic in the circle, hold the Y button and press, Up, Down, Left, Right and then start.
    Keep in mind that you MUST hold the Y button until the level selector comes up!

    You will be able to select any stage you want to go to.

    I'm surprised this still works from the original game. ;D
