    I recently bought my DS.
I have an installed R4 in it, and recently I've put themes into my _system_ file.
It was working fine yesterday night. However when I switch on today my themes were missing!
And when I connect the micro SD card to the computer I realised that all of the files in my _system_ folder
were renamed into weird symbols like " ÉεæQ7~─.Θz≈" etc.
I can't delete the files neither can I rename them.

Can anyone help me with this? DDD:

before you do anything turn your ds on and press select as this cycles through the themes if not you have put them in the wrong place.
start again just format the sd card then put all the files on again. making sure you put the themes in correctly in the correct folder. if i remember on the newer firmware there is a themes folder in in the system folder, you need to make sure you have one per theme folder.

so you go system/themes/theme 1 and put a theme in there then for the next one /theme2 and so on and you just press select to go to a different one

to format, put the microSD SD in your computer as normal, and open my computer. Right click on the drive letter of the MicroSD and click format on the menu. When the format window comes up, click start, then accept the warning. Once that is finished reinstall the firmware on the card.

By brand I meant what is the name of the company that made your MicroSD

i have a feeling its more the files where in the wrong place and created conflict then an issue with the card its self

Read the logo on the MicroSD. Yes, it'll be Kingston. Oh, Equity, there's my Tutorials in the Tutorials section for R4 themes if you didn't know.
