Try using ePSXe 1.7. Is the extension .iso etc? Did you download it correctly and extracted it correctly?

Change the save type in the options, or use no$gba for DS, best emulator ever.

yea, im just going to give up, because it was you who told me to try to emulate final fantasy 4 on this emulator because the words kept over lapping on no$gba.

This is an old screenshot of my settings but you will need Pete's OpenGL driver.
This setup ran really smooth, with absolutely no graphical glitches.
There's a little hiccup in the sound when you start a battle but since I bound the speedup option to the spacebar, I just fast-forwarded it every time since it took too long to start a battle.
The hiccup is from the dumb swirl before you start a battle.

no$gba is the best NDS emulator, and then iDeaS, I assume it's overlapping, as it's probably 3D text, which is not being overwrited or erased properly, due to the 3D text emulator bug with that game.

so do you think that if i downloaded it from another site it would work properly?? another site that i went to that had the FFIV file said it was like 140mb, and this site says its only like 100mb or so
btw,insanecrazy07 , I got the [psx]final fantasy9 to work pretty good with epsxe1.7, I but the FPS at 150.0 per second
and to Anandjones , i do u have a link to the psx plugin pack that has like 90 plugins with it?

No, it's rarely the ROM dump that is the problem. They probably didn't compress it (stupid). Yeah, there's one, google ngemu (can't have other romsites here), go to the Forums, and then browse inside the ePSXe board.

yea, epsxe is up and runnig perfectly for me thanx to you guys... guess u dont got any thing left to do huh??
dont worry, I'll just give you some more tech. problems, this time its with getting the dreamcast emulater(nulldc_100b1_6)((Chankast_alpha_25)). im trying to play what is one of the best 3-on-3 fighting games in the world, marvle vrs. capcom2. when i run Chankast_alpha_25, it says that it couldntinitialize input.dll. I cant even run nulldc without this annoying thing that pops up saying,"unable to load gui dll. im guessing that im missing some plugins right??

You're missing some sort of plugins or files, or the emulator can't find the files needed. Check out the official website.

Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is hard to emulate in general, which is why I picked up a Dreamcast for $30, two controllers and a memory card included.

When you emulate, be sure to check the Capcom Hack for Capcom games obviously.

yea, i dont think its that, i think its the emulators, and I already have a dreamcast 5 controllers, 6 memorycards, with sonic, and fur fighters. But i want to play marvle vrs. capcom 2. and why would that game be hard to emulate?? it uses 2d graphics, and ive seen dreamcast emulators run sonic adventure( a 3d game) at almost perfect speed.

Even 2D is hard to emulate. Do you know of any other Dreamcast emulators? Try looking at http://www.emulator-zone.com/

just burn marvel vs capcom 2. it's a much better experience on the console rather than an emulator anyway.

good luck at the character select screen by the way, because you better memorize where the characters are and their types.
