    ???i've already downloaded a rom for my emulator. but the file didn't wok for my emulator.
    what will i do???

    Which Emulator? Which game? I don't know what you'll do, probably something else until someone bothers answering your question which is essentially impossible with no information.

    did you extract the rom using winrar?
