All right, I recently downloaded Pokesav and was playing around with it and I finished all of my edits on my Platinum ROM .sav file. So, I saved the edited version, but when I went to run it with No$GBA, it loaded my previous save. The question is though, I don't really understand where it's even pulling this save from. It looks like if I had edited the .sav file, the emulator would have no choice but the load the one I had made since the other is no longer in existence. Do emulators store saves within the ROM itself or something? Or is it an issue with Pokesav?

this happened to me aswell, but on the ds, but your problem is probably that your emulator has a saved file somewhere

Do you know of anywhere else that the emulator might direct the .sav to other than the file that the ROM itself is in?

not really, look on the emulator folder
but if you cant find it, it probably happened what happened to me, the save file got corrupted and you have to erase it and start again, so pokesav works, or just dont use pokesav on that file
