its reeeaaaallllyyyy anoying when i have put in the time to download a game and then winrar ends up telling me that the file is corrupt or "unexpected end to file".what does this mean? is this a problem on the site or on my computer?
Honestly, this sounds like something you should report the adminastrators. But I couldn't say for sure. If anything, I'd have to say try a different source, and report it.
I blame your internet, we probably do have a few corrupt files, but it's less than 0.01% of our files, so if it happens a lot it's most likely your internet that messes up the packages, the only thing you can really do in that case is to redownload. If you do it within 24 hours of you original download then no extra points are removed. (read the introduction guide also!)
Getting a download manager, preferably one that has download start/stopping enabled, would most likely help. With internets like ours today, getting our internet cut for about a second will fix itself with games and internet, but with downloads it leaves a nasty hole.
