Soma Bringer Translated Displays as a DS Program File

I downloaded a pre-patched, English Soma Bringer rom the other night. To start off, the game plays perfectly fine. Not an issue there. It's just the display of it that throws me for a loop.

Rather than displaying the information of the game like other roms, it just shows as a DS Program File with a generic grey DS icon. Like I said, boots and plays fine. Finds my save fine. No issues there. I just wonder why it doesn't display with the info of the game.

Is it because the translation patch edited parts of the rom responsible for the display in the file view that leaves the flash cart unable to properly discern that portion of the file? Just a little thing I want to know about.

 

lol, this bothers me too. i havent tried the game yet because of it

 

I played that game a year ago but I patched it manually and the icon appears to be a dog that shows the information about the game and the one who translated it Darthnemesis.
