So, who gets an extended holiday this year?

    Due to the horrible status of the auto industry, the factory I work for is closing it's doors for two whole weeks. I get a two week paid vacation :)

    I'm gonna be playing video games a lot... it will be so nice not having to worry about broken machines, midnight calls, late nights fixing things.

    Technically I'm permanently on holiday since I'm unemployed.

    I work 2 days next week then don't go back till Feb16th!!!

    Yeah I'm technically unemployed as well, although, as a university student I have plenty of things I could do if I wanted to.

    I don't have to go back to work until the 12th of January, so I got a month and about a week worth in total vacation time.

    Same here. I am now on a two and a half month holiday as it is end of year. Next year will be easy and basically I wont do any work, just study whenever..

    The life of a student is awesome, but when I finish I will have to work :(
