...from goodwill. Crash bandicoot 1, pro skater 3 and some star wars title. They were really scratched up and I wasn't gonna get them until I heard about the 7-day return guarantee. So I said "what the hell" and got them for 2.00 apiece - 6 in total.

When I got back to my ps1, they all ran perfectly! even the CGI in the tony hawk and star wars games!

...but I already had two of the three on my computer.

So, I dunno why, but I felt kinda GOOD about getting them...is some feeling taken away from us when we pirate?

I've found all kinds of cool gaming stuff at Goodwill at times my last find was a gameboy color and gameboy advance someone stashed in behind some stuff got them both for $6.00 and the color even had batteries so I was able to test them out. The coolest thing I found there was about 6 Turbografx-16 games stuck in with the audio cds for 2.00 ea.

the only games I buy are N64 games (those are awesome!)

Heh, true. I only got them 'cause I ALREADY knew they were good and had them on PC. If I coulda easily got past PS1 AP without buying a device or disc (pop wouldn't let me) I probly woulndn't have bought anything.

    And "sissy pirates", lol.

This is a very interesting community, to say the least :D

EDIT: Scratch all the emotional crap. The starwars game sucks ass. Hail RomU!

    Ok
If you tried them before and you like them so much,
you could buy them for supporting the developpers.
But you will not support them buying PS1 games (outdated)

But since they are second hand, the developers get no money. If they was still selling the game and it was brand new, then the developers will get money.

You do realise the POINT of romU isn't free games, but to try before you buy...

It just uses piracy as a medium.

I LOVE supporting my fave game companies, that said...I pirate only the following...

    -EA/thq games

-Second hand games that are over priced

    -Stuff borrowed from friends.

Still I can walk up to an EB games, abuse the 7 day return policy, and come out with $200 of games in my external drive :)

But some I won't even pirate...

-New games that are highly rated

    -Capcom games on ps3/wii consoles

-Anything that I can find on ps3

-Anything on wii that is highly rated (my wii isn't modded)

-Anything new made by nintendo (NINTENDO FAN BOY FOREVER!!!!!!!!!)

Respect game makers people, the prices are resonable considering what the game makers have to pay...

    -Wages for staff

    -Lunch

    -Advertising

    -Collector's edition stuff (where applicable)

-Pc's and geat to make the games

    -All the other pr required

I do pirate but I make sure not everyone would be hurt by my actions.

I realize now that hypnos spaces out his sentences to make it look longer.
    A very cunning plan indeed.

Actually it's so I can read my own sentences, unfortunately I can't read it well if it's all bunched up together.

Don't ask, just STAY ON TOPIC!

(I do piracy as long as it doesn't hurt others that i care about)

Nobody in their right mind would pirate any big 3d sega games past adventure 2 or heroes (your mileage may vary). I'll only pirate the rush games, colors DS and the sonic 4 wiiware when it comes out cause wiiware is so small in size; only big as DS games :D But I have no wii so see if it works in dolphin XD

I don't have any home consoles past a PSX and I'm not allowed to buy one till I'm 18. Life can suck.

The only thing I can do is emulate for newer stuff, and even then my grafix card is pretty suck. Best it can do is nullDC and wiiware.

As for the psX, yeah, I emulate, and yeah, I have a PC gamepad, but I keep the real deal too.

    SEGA isn't that good.
    Nintendo makes better games

Duh. Sonic's the only franchise Sega's widely known for making a lotta games from, which is why most of the non-sonic charries from sonic and sega all stars racing are charachters with single, just OK outings (maybe 2 or 3 if lucky) in the gameworld, whereas all of nintendy's charachters had multiple, solid outings ('cept for pit, but the 3ds will soon fix that.)

Not considering that PS3 games can't be pirated (yet) didn't cross you mind. Speaking of such are you getting Demon Soul's Black Phantom Edition?
