N64: No, the DS isn't powerful enough.
GBA: Yes, but you need a slot 2 cart, you can't get a slot 1 emulator.

actually SnemulDS is a slot 1 snes emulator with relativly good compatibility. it's currently at version 0.5 and version 0.6 will be released soon

the slot 2 emualtor (which apparently works better) is snesds

That doesn't change that fact that you can't run GBA games on a slot 1 cart. :)

To install the homebrew programs, you just dump them on your card like you do for your roms and then boot up the cart and run it. Certain homebrew programs may take specific steps before launching, such as DSOrganize requiring a folder with it's necessary components to run. Also, I would like to point out that what you should be giving is the version of the firmware and not Moonshell, Moonshell is just a media homebrew application that the R4 team bundles along with their firmware.

Is it possible to run a snes emulator on a Supercard One. If so which is best and how do I go aobut it?

snemulds is the only one for slot 1 cards, and will run on virtually any slot 1 card (patch required or not)

snemulds is in fact now into version 0.6 alpha, with its nicer GUI and all (game compatibility is same old same old, though)

    http://www.snemul.com/ds/
    http://wiki.pocketheaven.com/SNEmulDS_Compatibility_List

the biggest problem is the fact that the ds actually has a smaller screen than the snes, so all games will look either distorted or have edges cut off, it's your choice

i'm waiting for more info on that nintendo thing which'll apparently allow GBC games with an official slot 1 card - will it allow snes?

Right...just make sure you follow the instructions, including where you put the ROMs...

snemulds isnt the only snes emulator for ds. There is also SNESDS and superNDS. Running SNES games on your DS is very difficult with some of the emulators. Wait a bit until they add some updates to them.
