So I've never posted here and I hope this is the right place, but...Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine, the SMT MMO is in open beta! I dunno if anybody else <3 megaten but you should try it, it's way amazing, better than any other MMO I've tried (even though that's only RO, WoW, and FlyFF lol). Just it's in beta so remember that; some things don't quite work the way they should, but they're slowly getting it all together. Ok here's the link: http://megaten.aeriagames.com/ and you can see it's by Aeria, who made DoMO and Shaiya and stuff so it's free! Like totally free even! (well you can buy Aeria Points to get stuff in game I think but I've never done it) ^^

I'm Dhelia in-game so say hi to me! My clan Ambition is really cool and we'll help you out with pretty much anything lol (even if you don't want to join) xP

    kbai ^^

SMT Online is okay, but I disagree with it being "amazing", the graphics enjoy is bugging and everything pops in as the engine tries to deal with things happening on screen. Camera control is a huge problem, you are constantly trying to correct the camera to look the right way and combat is not as engaging as it should be. Coming from playing all the SMT games on the PS2 this is a big dissapointment, I am also a WoW player and as WoW is the most polished MMO out in the world right now, it has spoiled me to the point where I look at SMT Online and think "it'll be better after a few months of patches and updates". But the big draw is that it is free, so if you want to play a MMO and don't want to pay monthly fees, then check out the open Beta and see if you want to play it.

Ya I agree basically with everything you said lol. A *LOT* of work needs to be done. For me though, I really enjoy the combat! I enjoy figuring out how the different skills can work together and how things need to be timed and stuff. Yeah it's not the same as the other SMT games, but it's also not a platform game. I'm just really excited that it even exists, so maybe I'm really optimistic, but I think in a year or so it'll be really really good. (I hope) ^^

I never actually got very far into WoW so I shouldn't have put it there >< but aside from the obvious problems with MTO being in (early) beta, how do they compare? Especially with combat? I prolly need to try WoW again, especially since I played *deep* into my RO days lol.
