These past few days, i've had VERY slow loading time when I try to click "Download" from the homepage and when i click download for a game. There has been no problem at all from the forums or anything else, just those too things. I've tried different browsers still long long loading time. Tried firefox, IE, Opera, and Chrome, all the same. Anyone know why?

I haven't had that at all and I can't reproduce it, I'll need more info such as time of day (timezone too) if I am to make a guess.

The time is 6:00 pm - 9:00pm pacific, tried in those hours and it was pretty slow, i'll try earlier if I have some time. Also i live in California USA if that makes a difference .

It's the same for me. I have been trying to download rhythm heaven for the past few days using the two servers available but the maximum rate I get now is 15kb/s and the minimum was 0.2kb/s. Then I will receive notice that the file download has completed but it was just a portion of the actual file or that the source file could not be read and to contact the admin. I tend to try downloading around 7pm to 12am(GMT+8) using Firefox. I have just upgraded my broadband plan from 8mb to 10mb so it may be a problem on my end but an upgrade shouldn't cause any problems eh?!

well it's not the download time that's the problem, it;s the slow loading time when I click the download tab from the home page or from the game, once i get past it, everything is fine though.

Is it a connection slowdown or a computer slowdown?

Open up your task manager, is something hogging your CPU when you click it? Maybe you have an Antivirus software that is checking anything you are trying to download?

Well, everything else works perfectly fine, nothing is really hogging the CPU, but firefox at 70-80k. It's not even the link to download the file, it's the tab that says download that I click when I first visit the home page. I have a bunch of svchost.exe each using 5-10k like 5 of em, and one uses 35k. What are these?

scvhost is a windows process. There's supposed to be multiple ones. Laptops have even more running (For some reason...)

svchost is the executable responsible for running windows services (such as the automatic updates, indexing etc).

I think the problem for me seems to be happening after the change of download servers from ww5 etc to eu and us servers now as I don't have any trouble downloading other stuff from other sites. Any help?
