I'm running Dolphin SVN R 4771 64x, and trying to play Paper Mario: The thousand year door. I have an AMD Phenom 8400 Triple-Core Processor, 2.10 GHz, 4.00 GB of RAM, and 64 bit Vista. Whenever I play the game, my framerate is a meager 15-20 FPS during gameplay. Any ideas on how to up my framerate?

    Lower the resolution.

Are you on a laptop? What graphics card do you have?

I've already lowered the resolution to its minimum. My graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430.

I believe the 6150SE is an integrated card, meaning it shares your system memory, instead of being a stand alone graphics card with it's own memory.

What are your complete system specs?

Operating System (XP, 2000, 98, etc.)
    Processor Speed
    RAM (System Memory)

Higher generation emulation requires a lot of computer power. Your system may not be able to handle the emulator's requirements.

Yep, that was an Integrated graphic card, and Better use the stand alone graphic card.

I suggest you use desktop instead of laptop, if you have one.

Ah, I completely forgot he stated the other info already. I had to sit for hours trying to decipher a program written by German controls engineer so I can modify it and add onto it. Not only were any comment written in a foreign language, the program itself is written in a language which I have very little experience in.

The compatibility list says it runs, but is not perfect.

This coupled with your computer specs is probably going to produce low FPS.

Integrated graphic card didn't work well on Dolphin.

Like Tirith said, using a stand alone graphic card can boost your game speeds.

I'm using 9500GT and it runs on normal speeds (50-60fps).
