Recently, I was playing Pokemon Gold on an emulator on my DS...Then I started to remember how good some of those old GBA games were. Now, as most of you know, you can't emulate GBA games on a slot-1 device by itself, you also need a slot 2 device. Well, you see, here's my problem. Before I can even go to my parents and say "So...I was thinking..." I need to know WHAT I'm buying and I need to be able to give them a price. Now, chances are I'm paying for this myself, so price probably not a problem. So, here is what I need to know.

Which GBA Slot-2 Flashcart should I get?
How much is this going to cost me?
And anything else that seem simportant.

    Thanks for your help,
    APH.

    One point you should note:
You aren't talking about an emulator, you mean flashcart. An emulator is for playing games without the hardware. Here you have the hardware (the DS contains a GBA) and you just need a slot 2 flashcart. If you call that an emulator, things're bound to get confused. And yeah, right now, the EZFlash 3in1 seems to be the best slot 2 card.

Meh, my bad. Was tired so wasn't really paying attention. Will fix after this post.

I followed your link, and it says at the top "EZ- Flash 3 in 1 " whatever yada yada yada, but what confuses me is while the product name seems to be EZ 3-in-1, the screenshots actually shot EZ Flash V....Or is that what the cart actually looks like?

    I'm confused.

Well, it is all set. Tommorow I buy the EZ Flash 3-in-1. now, one question. When the cart arrives (from hereon described as EZ), will it be ready to go? For example, as soon as it arrives in the mail, could I get it out of the packaging, toss it into my DS, get some roms off this site, and be instantly ready to start playing my GBA games, or is there some set up required? If there is setup required, and that setup requires me downloading something, could someone provide the links now so I can just download it now and then just put it wherever I need to. In the case that you need to know, I'm using a CycloDS Evo FW 1.56Bs

Oh, by the way, I still need an answer to my last question beofre I buy...Does the cart itself say EZ flash V on it or what?

Could someone go to this site for me and make sure the screenshots match to the name of the product?

You would need to install firmware and that's it.

I feel (and probably sound) stupid for repeatedly asking questions, and hopefully this is the ende, but..

I need to install the EZ firmware to the EZ cart?

    I'm very confused.
