Slight problem with my sisters R4 clone

Hey, just thought I'd ask a question. My sister had a normal R4 clone, but I gave her my R4i chip, so that she could use her DSi instead of her DS lite. Anyway, after updating all the firmware to the R4i's and sticking it in her DS lite, it doesn't show up, yet it shows up on my DSi XL. It would be best if she could play it on both her DS lite and her DSi. Anyone got any ideas?

Gonna suggest to her that she should get a better chip after Christmas with her money, but it would be best to give her something to play with up until then.

Duh.

Blow in the contacts of the DS lite (slot-1).

 

Unbelieveably, blowing some air into the contacts did work. Something so trivial yet it fixes it. Cheers
