Have used the site for a while now, suddenly about 3-4 weeks back I cannot access the Romulation site.

When I try to access the site I get a message saying Kaspersky is denying access, I have checked settings in my Kaspersky Internet Security and there are no obvious settings there , I have also put www.romulation.net into allowed addresses, the message which comes up says access is denied, it is almost as thought Kaspersky is operating a black list thus putting a blanket block on access.

Any comments would be appreciated. The only way I can access the site is from my daughters computer which has AVG antivirus, which is how I am able to send this message.

check kapersky settings for something along the lines of 'dangerous site filter' or 'link scanner' and turn it off. Failing that, you could disable kapersky while visiting this site, and you may have to consider changing your security product.

Thanks for that, had Kaspersky when I first signed up and had no problems but will check as you suggest, thought I had covered that but not an area which I am particularly familiar so will look deeper.

    Hi loonylion

Thanks for your previous response, have now had the opportunity to check and found that Parental Control had been switched on and that was causing the problem. Sure I did not switch it on and as it was on both my desktop and laptop may have been set by default during a routine software upgrade but not really sure.

    Thanks once again
