    With a r4 can u download gba games too.

    You need a Slot 2 device (that plugs into the GBA slot of the DS) to run GBA games.

    GBAtemp.net has some Reviews (click Reviews tab) on various Slot 2 devices. I believe you need to have an account to view them now though =\
