Simple Question, What Site is good to buy a R4?

    I'm realy stuck at finding a good site that isnt a scam
    can some1 tell me a legit site?

    I'm new to this, i also heard you can use any "flashcard"?

    www.dealextreme.com is a reliable (if a tad bit slow) site.

    Might I recommend a different card though, instead of the R4. The Acekard2i is cheap and has good compatibility.

    I'm slightly new to the whole R4 thing
    what parts do i need for a working R4?

    For just about every flashcart out there, you need to use a MicroSD or Transflash card.

    And of course you'll need a Nintendo DS.

    T,he'll need a micro usb card reader also,as Ive seen the carts listed as a separate item,for cheapness.Best if he goes for the Acekard kit like you say.......about 2 weeks delivery from dealextreme

    My laptops both had SD card readers, and my MicroSD came with an SD adapter, so I didn't need to worry about it. But I did go out and buy a cheap SD card reader from Wal-Mart a few days after, since it was annoying transfering files to my laptop then to my card :)

    I have a port to enter SD cards but whats the Reader for?

    You have to have a way to put files on your MicroSD.

    i bought my r4ds pro and my brother bought his m3ds real at http://www.ozmodchips.com/
    i got a kit with an microsd and the r4
    while my bro got his with a rumble pak as well.
    very quick and got a usb adaptor as well.
