    The rules here clearly state

    Signatures and Avatars
    - Signatures must be no larger than 200 pixels in height and must be below 200kb in filesize, this is total filesize, not per image filesize.
    - Signatures must not contain adult content, all signatures are expected to adhere to a PG-13 guideline.
    - Signatures must not be flashy, this includes, but not limited to, short repeating animations, rapidly changing colours etc.

This means that a signature of 1020x760pixels may look great, you should not use it. Standard sig sizes fall in the range of 200px high by 500px wide. All of my work uses a standard 150px high by 450px wide. It is recommended that you use a size similar to this to keep browsing the forums enjoyable for all.

Heres a quick Tutorial for resizing images if you are uncertain how.

    MS Paint

Slightly long winded but has comic quotes such as 'This is aimed at models, models can resize' and 'Paint is your friend'.
