Show new replies to your posts - question

    I like the forum feature "Show new replies to your posts" and use it almost every time. However, there are some older threads that I really don't want to continue to watch but they remain in the list. Is there a way I can essentially 'stop watching' a thread? Do they just drop off naturally at some point?

    aren't there any feature can be added to remove unwanted thread?

    -Only for the site's staff, they can delete a thread, just like that thread Meganova made...

    Just ignore the thread and click "mark read".

    what thread was that?
    i never know thread can be deleted..i only know that it can be locked...

    Seph...can you add that feature?

    deleting threads removes them from the forum entirely. We will not allow users to do that.

    you misunderstood me...
    i was talking about removing threads from the "show new replies to your posts"

    I've said it before, but I'm not going to touch SMF code at all, and I think it's unlikely that a mod exists for it.

    Thanks for the info guys. I will follow the advice from alexong96 and just click 'mark as read'.
