What did Sony do to Nintendo? The controllers? Thats not a good reason to sue Sony because of the new Sony-Wii controllers.

They can't. Sony's motion control works a way, way different way than how Sony's Move works.

Move works in conjunction with the camera, mean while the Wii works in conjunction with the IR sensor and tilt sensors and accelerometers.

I doubt they'd risk making a big scene about it

Sure, and while we're at it Sony should sue MS and Nintendo for using 2 analog sticks, Sega should sue everyone for using Disks instead of carts, Sega should sue Nintendo and Sony for using a colour LCD screen in a handheld, Sega should sue for people making consoles able to connect to the internet, Sony should sue microsoft for bringing out a camera for the xbox, etc. /sarcasm

I see no reason for Nintendo to Sue Sony over the Wii lookalike controller.I mean if they would wouldn't Nintendo had first sued The Chinese(Insert name of the company that made the Vii and made that Super Mario Galaxy Clone since I have no idea what the name of the company in China that did this)for making the Super Mario Galaxy Clone and the Vii?

I really see no reason honestly.

Actually there's no reason for this. This patenting erason for suing is ridiculous in most cases. Also, Nintendo used some toher company technology in the Wiimote system. If you sue anyone for evething, you 'll get to use the same stuff for ever. No technology would be invented, XD.

well there are patent laws and Nintendo has the full endorsement of the law to sue Sony for the tech of those remotes

Ummm....no, I'm sorry but this is incorrect. I'm not sure what technology you think Nintendo put in their Wii, but none of it was new tech.

Only if a) they have a patent and b) Sony copied the technology. Considering the technology used I doubt nintendo have patents on it, and Sony didn't copy it anyway, their system works differently.

Some accelerometer stuff Nintendo put in his Wiimote is also patented by another company, that also tried to sue Nintendo.

I wonder how that natal would go...

All I know is, nintendo was in the lead with motion control....but now...what's gonna happen I don't know.

IMO there's no legitimate reason for suing a company that makes better use of technology than you did. As far as I'm concerned Nintendo did motion control the right way and Sony and MS will not garner as many motion fans due to how sketchy their tech works.

It's silly to sue someone over an idea, since ideas are worthless until they're implemented. If someone implements an idea better than you, that's not their fault.

Nintendo, who had to release the motion plus to fix their rubbish controllers? Also how can you judge the Sony/MS products before they're even finished?!
