Should I have to worry about having me 3DS bricked?

    I've heard of 3DS's being bricked for having pirated games, since they can now update to stop this. Does this apply to FlashCarts too? As in, will I have to take any precautions to ensure my 3DS is not messed up? Thanks much for any replies~

    No, you're 3DS cannot be bricked.
    This is due to privacy and consumer laws, blah blah blah.

    a bad flashcart could damage the ds, but there is only one flashcart known to do this (N5). the stories of nintendo willfully bricking consoles because of pirate games are scaremongering, it would be illegal for nintendo to do that and they would be bankrupted by lawsuits and criminal sanctions if they did.
