Should I buy a 3DS now or wait until later?Or never buy one?

TBH I was thinking of picking up a 3DS but it's kinda hard for me to just up and buy it because of the games they have now.However I can't just up and wait because the money I have now isn't going to sit around forever.But I was thinking of ridding my PS3 since I don't care for it much.The only game I care for on PS3 would be Disgaea 4 but otherwise that's all.But 3DS has sssooooo many interesting games coming out for it.Especially this Holiday season.But I'm none too sure right now.For the ppl who are thinking of buying it,what are your thoughts?What about those that already has one how well does it handle?What games could I buy?The games right now I'd like are Zelda & Dead or Alive.With them being 40 bucks each it seems very reasonable but the 3DS costing 250 kinda turns me off :| if it were 200 bucks then I'd up and buy it.But it looks like no price drop is going to happen soon.

Anyway what are your thoughts ppl?

 

I'm thinking of buying one but I'm going to wait and see first since I'm leaning more on the Vita than the 3DS. You have to look in the long run, too. If you're only going to buy it for two or three games then I'd wait if I were you (which is what I'm doing). Put your money at a bank or something and buy the 3DS later when the prices come down.

 

When I was on webcam with my friend in the States, she showed me her brand new 3DS, and I was amazed even over a webcam how crazy it is. I'm not sure they released them here yet...

It'll take some time.Also there's no guarantee that there will be a flashcard that will work for 3DS games....

I'm beginning to want to buy a 3DS even though Capcom decided to be an idiot a cancel MML3...but, the thing is, the 3DS is region-locked, right? So, that would mean that I won't be able to make full use of the 3DS if I buy a US one...(I'm talking about the eshop (is that what it's called) and the video-service-thingy they have)...or am I wrong?

So far, there is not many good games for 3DS. If you thinking to buy 3DS simply because of a game, I bet you will fall into trap.
Well, there are some promising games for 3DS such as Rune Factory 4. Even that, will only be release in Japan. And most peeps agreed that the possibilities for Rune Factory 4 to come out in the west, left alone in English is pretty damn low.

So far, it worth nothing.

My best suggestion for you will be, wait for a real 3DS emulator.

 

Some people will say no, other will say yes.

Look at it this way:

Check your local game stores and look which games are published on the 3DS. Do you like some, well don't wait and think about when you are gonna buy the 3DS. Look also to the PS Vita, if that console looks better (in terms of games not the hardware are the specs) then buy not the 3DS but the PS Vita.

It isn't about the specs but about the games. What are you with a good console and no games that you find fun.
