whenever i try to save it says 'save failed' and some other crap. do i need to patch the game?

Please explain more, what flashcard are you using, which firmware do you have etc.; also, there already is a big topic about this, so you should rather ask there.

 

Check the topic already created about this game. There is no patch for the R4 at this moment although there are a couple of people working on it at the moment. So maybe something will come of it.

Ok i know we're mainly talking r4 but does anyone know how to make it work on m3 simply?
