So I downloaded the ROM for Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey, but when I start up the ROM with no$gba, the title screen is completely black, and so is what I believe is the name entering screen.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Make sure you have the latest version 2.6a, with no$zoomer addon as well. Links can be found in the Common Issues https://www.romulation.org/forum/index.php?topic=1462.0

I'm pretty sure I have 2.6a and I tried no$zoomer and that didn't work either.

Is it NO$ZOOMER 2.3.0.2 ? I played the game using NO$gba and No$zoomer too and it's working just fine.

Well, I downloaded it from the download link in the Common Issues thread. I double clicked on the no$zoomer icon, selected no$gba and then selected the ROM and it still showed up in a black screen.

Maybe something wrong with your NO$gba setting, I don't have to use NO$zoomer and I still can play it like normal.

Can you do a Print Screen of your no$gba settings so I can compare them to mine?

Maybe it's your VGA card ?
Don't know if that have any effect or not though.

    Re-check your No$gba and No$zoomer version.
It should be able to play normally even if you don't have Graphic card.

How do I check my no$gba version?

EDIT: I checked the Config file and it says no$gba 2.6 so I'm guessing I have 2.6 and not 2.6a :/

    Yeah, it's 2.6 and not 2.6a. :/

EDIT: Yay, I downloaded 2.6a and it works. :D
