Shin Megami Tensai: Devil Survivor

It's coming out soon, so I figured I'd scope out who's looking forward to it. It's easily going to be the best release in star-studded June.

 

I can't wait for it, that's for definite.

 

I'm interested at least. I've never seen a really bad SMT game so if nothing else I at least expect this to be a decent way to pass some time.

 

It's going to be way darker then the last two persona games, and the combat system looks like a cross between the 1 more system of Persona 3+4 and a Tactical RPG. That alone makes it worth looking at.

The story takes place over seven days, and each day is divided up into 30 minute chunks, which can be spent in various ways. Demon Fusion is a little more complex, and you obtain demons through an auction which could be interesting, although I don't know much about it.

 

I am over the hill with joy about this one. I've been watching the opening movie on Gametrailers, and cannot wait till tuesday.
Hoping it's on here by that day.

But don't all the character's eyes make them look super mad like all the time? Pointy downwards ANGRY FACE.

I don't know what I should be waiting for since this is going to be my first time playing Shin Megami Tensei
let's just hope it doesn't disappoint me

 

If you have any taste in RPGs, any at all, it won't disappoint.

 

well my hopes are really high for this one since it's the game I have been waiting for after finishing Luminous Arc 2, so that's a long time...

 

I've still not played that yet... Maybe I should.

Can't wait...probably one of few games I keep an eye one after its release.

 

In US release or Japanese? I'm not sure because of how to title is made up...can someone clear it up?

I'm rather looking forward to this too. I've never played anything from their line, nor any game not set in a fantasy world, so this is going to be a very new experience for me.

OMG i want it now too.. I have been waiting forever for this game, ever since i heard it was coming out.. Which was like 4 months ago.

I've loved SMT since the first one on ps2: nocturne.
