Grrr... PLDT SUCKS 3 days without internet connection wooo!! then there customer service sucks they always say that the problem is my pc!!! im thinking about changing WAHHH!!
if you're not happy with their service, then write a formal complaint to the board of directors, giving your reasons for being unhappy, then switch to a different provider.
again half day without net and now the net has gone back its so slow! and there is no phone line but there is internet connection waahh!! @damanali: actually i dont know the problem but im sure its my pc and there making excuses and saying my pc is the problem and today they said they will send a personel to fix but no one came woo!!!
hm, it might be you're pc..but i have the same problem back then. and the same with you, nobody came too. hm, does the light comes on when your pc is off? and when you turn it on, the modem lights turns off? if thats the problem, then you should check your pc's connection and if still there is no problem, you should tell those pldt guys to come sooner or bring your pc to them. and ask them whats your pcs problems.
no the modem is fine it turns on the 3 lights is on the middle is blinking (thats the case if the connection is okay) but if there are no connection the middle stops or it dont blink or it blinks then stop then blink and there is no phone line
yup, thats the same problem that i experienced some weeks ago. if pldt said its your pc, try to a full scan for virus and malwares. if that doesnt fix it, see if the cords are not loose..if it the problem, then its the pldt's fault.
Let's do a comparison Bha: PLDT: Pros: you use a Physical line which is a DSL cable. Unless there is no problem with your network adaptor or the cables connected to your computer, your internet will be good PLDT has a bundle plan that lets you have a landline along with a DSL connection for a lower price than having internet Bills separate with your phone bill The cheapest fastest internet speed they offer is 512kbps. Cons: Yeah their customer service needs a major overhaul Broadband via Smartbro (what I'm still currently using as our phone line STILL has no slot for PLDTs bundle plan ) or via Globe: Pros: Customer service is prompt & polite The connection can not be tapped by others just like with poorly set WiFi Cons: When it rains hard with winds blowing you lose internet access Your antenna's signal is very dependent on it's distance & orientation to Smart's/Globe's celsites or as they call it, the base station Playing MMO's on wireless can cost you your character's life You get killed NOT because you were careless, you get killed because your internet got cut off :'( You pay separate internet & phone bills. The cheapest fastest internet speed they offer is only 384kbps. So there you have it, choose which you prefer more, a steady constant faster internet with lousy service or a slower signal dependent internet with excellent service?
damn the plan 999 is 1mbps right? my downloads only goes to 100kbps im lucky if its on 120kbps!!! and im neighbor with a smart satellite if i change to smartbro my internet would be skyrocketing?
nope even if you change to smartbro you will only get 50 kbps even if the smart tower is beside your house!! oh and don't try disconnecting the plug when you switch to smart bro because it will take you 2 hours just to regain your internet connection so don't do it!!!
Not true, since my Smartbro power plug is also installed onto the same AVR Dave is on. When I unplug when it's not in use it & later plug it in, I can establish a signal within only 5 minutes. Dude 100kbps IS the max speed you can download with a 1mbps internet connection Download/upload speed is always atleast a tenth of your connection speed, hence: On a 56k modem, your download is a measly 5kbps On a 384kbps broadband internet connection, 38kbps is fine but usually it is between 45 to 42kbps And on your 1mbps connection, 100kbps is pretty normal
Not quite, its actually 1/8th, not 1/10th, so the actual maximum speed of a 1mbit connection is 128KB/s speeds can depend on a lot of other things too.
