setting up pc games

    ive just started playing big gaes like street fighter 4 on my pc,and for some reason,its really slow.
    know its not my pc because it has four gigs of ram,and street fighter 4 only requires 1 gig...so can someone please help e out...thanks.

    Street Fighter 4 is a fighting game produced by Capcom. What is interesting is that, it is the first numbered Street Fighter game since 1999. The Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game were released in late Feburuary 2009 whereas the PC variant of the game is expected to be released in early July 2009. As of March 31, 2009, Street Fighter 4 had sold over 2.5 million copies worldwide.

    i dont know wht my graphics card is,ut it cae with the pc...

    windows Vista Home Preium
    Pentium(R)Dual-Core CPU T4200 @2.00GHz
    Moble Iel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family

    is that everything??if not,just tell e what else to do wth a brief explaination..thanks

    intel graphics, they won't run games.

    nearly all new games need offboard gfx cards, motherboard chipsets don't cut it

    the games run...just kinda slow.i guess ill just get a new graphics card then...which do you consider??

    There's your problem.
    Onboard graphics chipsets totally suck.

    you can't get a new one, you have a laptop.

    ooohhh..well i have a tower too,but it only has like 500 b ram,im thinking of buying like 2 gigs of ram,and wich graphic chip would you get for that one??

    well...i don have a moniter right now,which is why i was trying to use my laptop,my 1'200$ laptop to be ore specific,and it wont place the latest games...as my as i paid for the piece of crap it shold be fire-proof,break-proof,and virus-proof...but thats just my opinion..

    ...try the command prompt "dxdiag".

    It will bring up system specs.


    Also-my laptop can play devil may cry 4 on medium with a decent 40FPS-but that's on the direct x 9 version.

    If I do 10-it will be smoother but the game will run at half pace (like a slow-mo replay).


    Is yours running DX 9 or 10-my laptop could do it-and your specs are close to mine.

    that is relatively cheap as high spec laptops go, and not even the $3,000 ones can play games properly.

    well... hows about you just tell me which graphic chips,sound cards ect. you would reccomend for me to play games on my tower(destop)

    I need to know what the desktop spec is so that I can recommend compatible hardware.

    yea i do know...but i kinda forgot i asked the first time so yea...ill get my pc specs to you once i get another moniter.

    get a better cpu, video/graphics card and sound card... all those together will make the game run flawlessly
