Hey, I just got my Acekard 2i today in the mail. I loaded AKAIO on it, and am currently copying my games over to it. Does it use the same saves as R4? And where could I get some cheats for it? Finally, anyone have anytips or things to download, etc for setting it up thx for any help!
If you need to convert R4 saves into acekard2i saves, go here. http://www.shunyweb.info/convert.php# The latest Cheats come with the latest AKAIO (1.6RC2) so you're fine on that part. Enjoy your acekard.
Alright I don't have a 2i but I have a 2.1 so it should be similar. Does it use the same saves as R4? Pretty much, you just need to rename the saves. So the R4 save should be gamename.sav The acekard save is gamename.nds.sav So if you have the game pokemon HeartGold you have to change it from PokemonHeartGold(u).sav to PokemonHeartGold(u).nds.sav If that fails use this online game save converter http://www.shunyweb.info/convert.php Where to get some cheats? The firmware will come preloaded with Action Replay cheats, now since your using Akaio, and I guess your using the newest version. So you need to enable the option to use Cheats in patches (May not be the same, I use a 2.1). When you've enabled that option it should have a cheat database selection in the patches menu? Select urscheat.dat Highlight the game, press Y and the cheats should be there If not press rebuild. That should help you, have fun.

I cant seem to get my pokemon save to work! Originally, I used the lang hack on the (J) rom for my R4, then when the patch came out i renamed it and it worked, but it wont work on here with a clean rom! Any help?
My 2i works fine with my r4 saves so far, no need for the conversion :/ I renamed them so it was .sav and not .SAV tho, read that it was an issue somewhere
