Sega Superstars Tennis problem

The rom downloaded perfectly to my M3 simply perfectly but for some reason, when I open the game it gives me a screen saying "Error, cannot read data turn off your Ds, and try again" anyone else have this problem?

 

Yes mate, I have had the same problem, hopefully there will be a fix out soon. Thought you'd like to know that it's not just you.....fingers crossed mate.

 

Yes. I got that with my r4. Hopefully it will be fixed. We just have to wait

 

If you get that message, to fix it, you're supposed to use the arm7 fix. I'm not sure if it works. It can be downloaded from here http://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/

 

Thanks for the advice, I've injected the the .nds file and will try it out later on today. Here's hoping it works...

PS. If I remember correctly Worms Open Warfare 2 had a similar problem to this on my DS Simply, but was fixed using a different arm7 file...

 

When I got that message from Donkey Kong and Worms way back it was because my firmware wasn't updated so if you're using R4 try updating it first to kernel 1.17

 

Finally got Sega Superstars Tennis to work!! After injecting the file using the tool from the post mentioned above and updating the firmware on my M3 DS Simply to v1.13 the rom loaded no problemo.
