I am running dgen for psp ver 1.70 lite to play sega games on the PSP.I can play .bin games but I see on here that games have the extention .gen and they wont play. The .bin games are 1 file and them .gen games are like in 4 files. Whats the script, does anyone know how to play them...
I'm guessing the gen are genesis...but they are the same console I've had this issue as well, let's hope ace comes by to shed some light ...
Try using PicoDrive. It's LOADS better than the emulator you're using now. It even comes with the bios in it so that you can play converted SegaCD games that I included in the pack. http://www.mediafire.com/?2wnkjeeohkv Put the PicoDrive folder in the /PSP/GAME folder.
N64 - http://forums.daedalusx64.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=2261 For SNES, I use - http://pspslimhacks.com/psp-emulators/snes-emulator/ And for GBA I use - http://www.mediafire.com/?n2tzozmz4di
Can you explain how to use that Converter in a very simple way? And maybe a link to Sega CD roms, or maybe you can upload some? Please, this would be amazing, would love to play Sonic CD on my psp.
You'll have to deactivate your anti-virus, so don't use it when you're computer is plugged in the internet if you are worried about viruses or hackers. Basically, you need a SegaCD .BIN and .CUE file. Put the .BIN and .CUE files into the bin_to_cso_mp3 folder. Next, drag the .CUE file into the bin_to_cso_mp3.exe file. It will come up in the Command Prompt and start converting the game. It will be in a folder named after the game. For SegaCD games, just PM me for it.
