Ok, i downloaded some movies and i'm now seeding it, but i have some questions...

Here is my scenario, before i went to bed i downloaded 3 different movies at the same time and just left them downloading themselves while it seeds at the same time. When i woke up, 3 movies are finished downloading but the seeds are extremely low like 24kbps for 1 file, 6 kbps for the second and a fluctuating for the 3rd... but the ratio on the 1st file exceeded into 1.2 something...so here are my question:

1.) Was the file seeded properly so the next leecher will get 100% from me?

2.) Can i stop seeding the first file so the other 2 can seed faster?

3.) Do the seeding stops at a point like 1.5 or higher?

Thanks for helping answer my questions. I really like the movies and i want to continue in seeding them, but i heard somewhere thats its ok to stop as long as the ration reaches 1.0...

    1) seeding only occurs when you are finished downloading, and unless you are the only seed no leecher will get 100% from you. A ratio of 1.2 means you have uploaded more data than you have downloaded (1.0 means equal upload/download, 2.0 means uploaded twice as much as downloaded etc)

    2) yes but it might not speed the others up.

    3) depends on your client config. most are infinite, I think utorrent might stop at 150.0 ratio.

ratio generally only matters on private trackers, and then the higher it is the better, but 1.0 is an absolute minimum.

Ah, so even if i dont finish seeding it but have a ratio of at least 1.0... its ok to stop and delete it from my list?

If thats so, thanks for your answer. I just like to give back what i got for free.
