I feel that the search function is not good. For example, like lets say I want to search for any topics regarding the F7 button in the epsxe emulator, under the technical help section. No search results are displayed. However, if I navigate all the way to the last page, I can find one topic regarding the F7 button. I realise that the search function is not effective, and when people post a topic which has already been covered, its not really their fault, since they cant rely on this search function.
SMF search generally sucks yeah, (also this is a forum suggest, we really need to merge these...) but there's not much we can do about it right now.
The search has always worked for me. What did you search for? When I searched for "F7 epsxe", the third topic it came up with was all about the F7 key. :-\ I honestly don't think the problem is the way it searches, I think you just need to figure out what keywords to use.
