romulation rocks! but i have noticed that the search engine is very .... ...... not good. i searched need for speed. and i got a lot of ds games but no need for speed nitro. same things happen with the genre filter. i choose nds in roms section, then choose filter and select genre 'racing' and it shows no results...... am i doing something wrong?
Try alternitive search words. https://www.romulation.org/downloads/search/nitro/ Last on the list It's also at the bottom on just asking "need for speed" results. You need to confirm your spelling and try other terms, the only one's you might have trouble with are games like F zero.

i hope genres are applied soon so that any of the person can have the catagory he desires (sorry for bad english)
they wont be. The genre system was abused, as was the rating system, so they need to be redesigned to prevent the abuse, and its not high priority right now.
Genres were user submitted. People put Genres like "Kid Friendly" on games like Grand Theft Auto. Or "First Person Shooter" on Pokemon games. It made the Genre system unreliable.
What Tirith said. Ratings were abused by people always rating a game 5 stars or 1 star, so there was never any middle ground.
well, maybe the (people who controls the website or checks it) should assign the genres but the rating should be done by the users.

thanks i got the nitro problem solved. now i got it that the newer roms are shown at the end. (happened with nitro and zelda with me) by the way, you can always assign some trusted people(like 100 or so) who can catagorize genres properly. and can award points for there help. like i am willing to assign and many others like me will also offer co-operation
