is there a way to make a .sgm file in no$gba like with visualboy advance so i dont lose any data?
sometimes when i save using the save menu in the rom it wont save.

I realized i cant lose data because in the BATTERY folder it has all my .SAV files.
    Never realized that happened

You can change Save type according to the game.

.sgm files or savestate files aren't fully reliable in no$gba at the moment. There is a savestate feature, called "snapshots", but they are unstable, often times causing games to crash, that is why they aren't advisable at the moment, which really sucks ass.

Yeah, snapshots work great with GBA games though. You're going to have to stick with in-game saving.

    ok thanks :D
hope that in the next version of no$gba their a bit more compatible.

You won't lose your data in no$gba, as long as you're not rough with it.

Like, if the computer is turned off while the emulator is running (i.e., you're playing Seph's Polar bear Adventure 2, but then a lightning storm shut the power down while the emulator was running), then, that is 99% sure that the file will get corrupted, no matter if you've saved or not.

Additionally, using snapshots will crash the emulator, no matter which version are you using, or the game you're playing. It's a guaranteed failure.

Plus, it is not probable that that feature will be fixed in the previous version, because in game saving is working completely (except that little thing above). Next version will probably focus more on games compatibility and speed issues.

Not many things that I can see improved with no$. :)

Screen Resizing is one, I'm desperately hoping they'd implement or improve on.

no$gba 2.6a's 2x view mode is fine & all, but I hope they make a 3x view mode too.

That would look extremely ugly, as most of the graphics are extremely pixel based.

But how come on VBA, for GBA Titles, even if you choose to play in full screen mode there is only few pixelation happening & the ugliest images only happen on games whose sprites are too small, like one of the Star Wars games or One of the Driver games.

Yeah I guess, playing Pokemon Ruby in full screen isn't too bad, but with some games on NDS, it just happens to look gross. Probably because NDS games uses more sprites, backgrounds, tiles etc, and they are more detailed.

Yes, and some times they do freeze while zooming.

anyone ever think that if the emulator is in full screen, the touch screen will also be bigger, making actions that require a mouse be more accurate? that would be sweet...

I don't really like the idea of 3x lol.
It would be so pixelised. And it would slow the speed down even more then what 2x did.

I don't think the screen would look too bad.

They'll probably just interpolate the pixel.

A real problem would be the touch screen grid that would be also 3 times bigger, which means you have to move the cursor all over the screen.

I think it would slow the speed down alot tho lol. ;)

A bigger screen resolution will benefit people with eyesight difficulties guys, so don't just bash the idea :p

As I've said in the past, the only reason why I chose to just play Handheld games on an emulator is because I have eyesight issues, so I'm not being a cheapskate by downloading handheld ROMs

Yeah, but it'll never be full screen, because all the sides of the screen must be multiplied by 2, 3, 4, etc., meaning that if you try to adapt the NDS screens to your monitor's size, the images will be distorted.

Plus, with a bigger touch screen, you'll have a bigger area to touch, meaning that it'll be easier to be more accurate. This results in "cheating", if I can say so.

And, the screens as they are are more realistic. ;D

Yes, the ROM image can crash if we try to make full screen.
