saves erased?

my saves were erased on my cyclods i recently got the moonshell 1.71 because i prefer it other than moonshell 2 also i got this game called kirby squeak squad for mybrother he told me that it said that the save was corrupted and it showed a button with reset on the screen and he pressed it

 

The CycloDS added an alternative save option. I believe when using the default sav method, it looks for the SAV file to be in the same directory as the NDS. With the Alternate save option it looks for the SAV file to be in a configurable directory (so the SAV files can be stored separate from the NDS).

Check to make sure you didn't accidentally turn this option on (it is in the Settings menu on the Cyclo Main Screen). Go to Save Mode. Normal or Alternative.

The directory for the Alternative Save Mode is configured inside the Config.xml file, I believe.

 

i use that but all my saves were erased in the save folder
