Saved games on R$i

Hello all

I used to have a R4SDHC card I used on a DSlite, I just bought a DSi and a R4i and everything works fine except that most games will not recognise the .sav file meaning i have to start over on most games which is a bit annoying. Does anybody have any tips on what I can do. I did copy the .sav files when I copied to the new card

The save files have to have the exact same name as the game file does. (Example.NDS and Example.SAV, for example).

It could be that the save file formats are not the same. Try using the save file converter and see if that helps.

If none of that works, maybe you have a firmware issue or incompatibility with the game. Read the Common Issues thread: https://www.romulation.org/forum/index.php?topic=1462.0

If you used the same games from your old R4 SDHC, chances are you had ROMS on it with ARM7 patches. These games may not work correctly on a different card, especially if that card doesn't need patching.
