Hello everyone. I was wandering if anyone know how to use a save file for the Ds on the acekard 2i cos i have a save file and im trying to use the same save file on my DS i. I copyed it to my micro sd card though its not coming up when i go to the game. When i copyied it its a sav. file for the Ds. Anyway any help would be great. Thanks a bunch! The files need to be named correctly. Most of the time the file naming is like this: GAME.nds GAME.sav Where the .sav and .nds file need to have the same name. I think the Acekard might need to have it like this: GAME.nds GAME.nds.sav I remember someone saying something about that in the Kingdom Hearts thread. If you are moving files between cards and/or emulators, then you may need to convert them. To do this, just use this online save type converter found here: http://www.shunyweb.info/convert.php
Great im trying it now its already a save file, though didnt know about the name changing to the games name. p.s Works like a charm many thanks!
It all depends on what they name the save file in firmware functions, you can easily tell how to do it for a specific flashcart etc.
So you need to add .nds before the .sav? ...thanks. (dangit, now I have to go and rename around 40+ saves. )
