.SAV files not working?

    Well I have been into some troubles lately, my computer broke down and I had to get it fixed, and also, on my no$gba, I can't seem to use my .SAV file anymore. Like when I change the name of the file to use for another game (just different) language, the .SAV file doesn't work and it just tells me that I need to make new data. Now what's the problem with that?? :-\ :-\

    The save file has to have the exact same name as the rom file. And in No$GBA, it has to be in the BATTERY folder, not in the same folder as the rom. Also, sometimes save files might not work between different regions of the same game, sometimes they will. It's not guaranteed.

    The names are the same, I copied and pasted, but the region shouldn't really matter..?

    It may, depending on the game. Most do work though...
