I got Yabause to work on my PC (after trying many others) but now I can't get any games to work. The Street Fighter Alpha 2 .exe (Street Fighter Alpha 2 (NTSC) (U)) I got from the site won't extract, but instead gives me a "Not enough memory" error. My hard drive was formatted less than two weeks ago, so ~200GB should be enough. Same goes for my 2 GB of RAM. I found a different SFA2 elsewhere, but it will go as far as showing "SEGA" and then just a black screen.

I also got Guardian Heroes somewhere else, and that will load, but I can only see about 1% of the screen. Stuff is in the background, but I can't see it, besides peepholes.

Any help? By no means am I an emulator noob, but Saturn is giving me all sorts of trouble.

Right, I can see what's happened, the saturn files on our server are corrupt. I'll reupload them.

So maybe Yabause doesn't work. I can get as far as the Sega logo but after that the screen stays black. Could it be my BIOS? The file name for it is "SEGA_100.bin" There's a backup ROM file, but no MPEG ROM file. Everything else is set to default... Kind of funny, really: I get the ISO, but now I can't get the emulator to run.

try a different emulator, see what www.emulator-zone.com says about the different ones.

They say to use Satourne 2.0 beta3, but that's the first one I tried and have never gotten it to go beyond the memory manager. Is there a walkthrough for it available? I just uninstalled it and reinstalled it but some old (bizarre) settings remain, like when I tried to set up my SideWinder controller, every button turned to left or right.

I don't know any tutorials, but forget the gamepad until the rest of it works. Once you have a game working using the keyboard as a controller, then you can try to get the gamepad working. Don't add too many variables at the beginning or you'll end up with a confusing mess.
