Each time after I save, the music become unbearable, just buzzing sound only.

Anyone encounter this problem? I use old R4 card with YSMenu

    Thanks

I have this same problem, but it is only after the second time I save without restarting my DS. The music is stuck on an infinite loop, and if I try to do any events, the game hangs.
I also have the old R4 with YsMenu.

try upgrading the firmware and using my Ysmenu link http://www.mediafire.com/?w1judgwdzlj, also if you are using cheats turn them off

My R4 firmware is already at 1.18, unless there is a newer version out, I'm not sure where to update it. I tried your YSMenu, but the problem still persists, though its now happening after a different amount of saves every time.

I'm not sure what link to use to get this to work, so I just used the first link, but its still the same as above.

This problem isn't so bad that I can't play the game, but it is kinda annoying to restart whenever I need to save.

I have the latest YSMenu installed. As I progress, the problem occurred again after several saves.

Try backing up all your files and reformat your MicroSD, or just use your R4 firmware to run it, no problems with sound there.

I'm not going to flood this board with the same topic, but I'm also experiencing the same problem as awsk.

I'm using SuperCardONE with latest firmware (uhh over half a year ago). And I am also experiencing the game OR music freezing after I save.

The strange thing is that no one else seems to be experiencing this (save the TC). I'll just keep an eye out on this thread then.

They is a slight trick, if you press down to a new save and up to your orignal befor saving, tends to help some times

I was hit with a bit of inspiration.

I'm not sure about other cards, but with the SuperCardONE, to overcome this problem when saving, all you need to do is change the save file size in the SuperCardONE menu.

I haven't exactly found the *best* save file size, but I tried setting the size to 1MB, and it worked. No more freezing music.

Scratch that. It worked the first time, but not the second time. *sigh*

Well, I have heard some ways to get around it. You dont really need the sound. But when a patch comes out. Maybe that could fix the problem.

Hurrah! I have found the work-around for the SuperCard.

Just turn off the patching for the SoD ROM (@ playing with a clean ROM). Now music shouldn't be a problem.

But I have noticed some differences. Battles are significantly "slower", as if the game takes times to register your hits. As if the non-patching affects the read/write speed of the card?

But walking around the map is still fine.

    There you have it.
