My cousin needs to boot his computer in normal mode, however whenever he restarts his computer it boots in safe mode. I do not use Windows and this is new to me. Any advice on how to load the computer to normal mode? He is running Windows XP if that makes any difference. Thanks,

Is it really safe mode, or does it just look like it (font and resolution issues?) Is SAFE MODE written in white letters on the corners of the screen?
You could just have a graphics driver issue.

He is trying to install iTunes, and he can download the .exe from apple however when he attempts to install the program a window comes up saying that the computer is in "Safe Mode" and will not allow the installation of the program.
