Sad Anime you Ever Seen?

I jus started watch Fullmetal Alchemist and I gotta tell you, Its ridiculously sad.. Like most of the plots and the whole story lines is jus too sad...

Example: One of the State Research Alchemist transmutates with daughter and a dog together because he runs out of ideas for his next research presentation...

You really have to see it for yourself to understand it... :'( :'( :'( :'(

 

FMA isn't that sad. Code Geass is quite sad at the ending, he kills himself to give his sister a better world to live in and some other stuff lol

Shinreigari: Ghost Hound <-- some dark stuff involving kids
Shingetsutan Tsukihime <-- classic tragedy very very moving story
Blood the Last Vampire and Blood+ Movie <-- tragic the entire way
Suzuka <-- good ol fashioned drama and sadness... the manga was more brutal
Neon Genesis Evangelion <-- if ya havent seen it... you might just be too young
Tokko <-- bloody, brutal, sad... badly needs a 2nd season

but some of the animes that you have listed aren't that sad at all, like higurashi no naku koro ni, that isn't sad at all, just very very scary and creepy >.<
