Running an maintaining an emulation/rom hosting site?

    I've always been curious on this one, what is it like to own, and maintain a site like this? How do you guys go through legal stuff, as well as avoiding potential law suits? What goes into it all?

    Well, the site was closed by ESA a while back (Entertainment Software Association), and then only the Forum was around, but now since the server's moved to a country where the ESA can't do shit, RomUlation is back :)

    Haha, talk about pwnage. I bet that pissed them off. I had a feeling the site was hosted in a different country other then the US.

    its hosted in canada, and to answer your question its a lot of work and costs a lot of money.
